How long are TruSculpt treatment times?
The length of treatment will depend on the size of the area being treated. Smaller areas (such as the neck, or knees) can take as little as 20-minutes, and larger areas (such as the tummy, or love-handles) can require up to 2-hours.
Am I the right candidate for TruSculpt?
Your About Face Skin Care treatment provider will determine if treatment is right for you during your one-on-one consultation. Ideal patients often have a BMI of less than 30 and have unwanted fat in different areas of the body.

How many treatments will there be?
At the time of your consultation, your About Face Skin Care treatment provider will discuss the number of treatments potentially required to achieve your desired results. Typically a patient will receive 3-4 treatments to attain maximum effect. Each treatment should be between 3-8 weeks apart.
What do I need to do before a treatment?
There is no special preparations needed before a treatment. Remove any jewelry or body piercings in the area prior to treatment.
What do TruSculpt treatments feel like?
TruSculpt is designed to be a comfortable procedure. Due to its unique design, the heating of the area will be tolerable. Your comfort is the priority, and your treatment settings will be customized per your stated comfort level.
When will I start seeing visible results?
TruSculpt delivers RF energy and uses the body's own natural system to break down fat-cells in the targeted areas. This process takes anywhere from 4 weeks to 3 months. A patient may begin to see results anytime during that period and beyond.
Can I return to normal activities after my treatment?
Yes, the procedure is non-invasive, so typically you can return to normal activities immediately.
Are there side effects?
The TruSculpt system is designed to provide a safe and comfortable procedure. Typically, there is no downtime after the treatment though patients may experience mild discomfort. Side effects can include redness, sweating, and mild tenderness in the treated areas. Usually this resolves within a few hours to a few days.
Is TruSculpt FDA-approved?
Yes! TruSculpt treatments are both FDA and Health Canada cleared for deep tissue heating and the temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite. In addition, TruSculpt has also received CE Mark clearance for body sculpting, body contouring, circumferential reduction and fat reduction.
